Are you an experienced children’s residential leader who thrives in challenge and change? This Turnaround Manager role in the West Midlands gives you the opportunity to take decisive leadership of a home requiring stabilisation and improvement. You will lead with confidence, embedding high-quality, trauma-informed practice while placing children’s safety, welfare, and voice at the heart of everything you do.

You will have real operational autonomy to influence culture, improve standards, and make a visible difference to children’s lives in a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as senior safeguarding lead and ensure all children are safe, protected, and supported.
• Take immediate responsibility for regulatory compliance, inspection follow-up, and improvement plans.
• Lead and stabilise staff, rotas, supervision, and daily operations.
• Embed quality assurance, governance, and robust recording systems.

About You
• Significant experience managing children’s residential homes and delivering turnarounds.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted frameworks.
• Proven safeguarding expertise and confident decision-making under pressure.
