Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £52,413 - £54,495 + £5,000 welcome payment + £3,000 annual retention

Hours: 37 per week | Flexible or part-time hours considered

Leaders in Care is working with Gloucestershire County Council to recruit a Children and Families Team Manager for their Tewkesbury and Forest of Dean teams. This is a key leadership role in a forward-thinking, values-led authority focused on systemic social work and meaningful outcomes for children.

The Role

You will manage a stable, well-structured team made up of an Advanced Practitioner, 4 Social Workers and an ASYE. You’ll oversee caseloads, provide case supervision, quality assure practice, and work closely with partners to protect and support children.

Requirements

• Social Work England or Wales registration
• Qualified social worker with completed ASYE (if post-2012)
• Strong frontline children’s social care experience
• Full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS
