This role involves working with students who have severe social communication difficulties and complex learning disabilities, many of whom have autism. You'll play a crucial role in helping these students achieve independence and improve their communication skills.

This Speech and Language Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £54,000 depending on experience. The role provides the opportunity to work term-time only, with flexibility for part-time arrangements.

Our client is a specialist trust dedicated to supporting young people with complex needs. They operate on a beautiful site in Surrey with expansive grounds, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both students and staff.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

  • Devise, develop, and implement therapy for individuals and small groups.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 18 students, setting termly targets.
  • Assess students upon admission and conduct annual reviews.
  • Supervise Therapy Assistants.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists, Dramatherapists, and Music Therapists.
