The Speech & Language Therapist Lead will:

  • Supervise and mentor less experienced therapists, providing guidance and training.
  • Develop and support therapy pathways within the Autism Diagnostic service.

  • Engage in clinical work with individuals and groups, using autism-specific approaches.
  • Lead post-diagnostic workshops and provide recommendations to parents and teachers.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to practice development and research.

The ideal Speech & Language Therapist Lead will have:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
