This Supervising Social Worker opportunity offers experienced fostering and adoption professionals the chance to focus on meaningful outcomes within a well-established service.
If you are an experienced Fostering Social Worker or Adoption Social Worker looking for a varied role with autonomy and continuity, this 11-month maternity cover position offers the opportunity to work across both fostering and adoption services while developing your assessment expertise.
Package & Benefits
• Salary of £37,835 to £45,468 per annum, depending on experience.
• 11-month maternity cover contract.
• £700 relocation allowance.
About the Company
This is an established children’s service with a strong focus on delivering high-quality fostering and adoption support. The team promotes collaborative working, values professional judgement, and is committed to achieving positive long-term outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete high-quality Form F assessments for prospective foster carers.
• Undertake Prospective Adopters Reports (PARs) in line with statutory requirements.
• Support fostering and adoption assessments through relationship-led practice.
• Contribute to permanence planning and positive outcomes for children.
About You
• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience within fostering and adoption services.
• Proven experience completing Form F assessments and Prospective Adopters Reports (PARs).
