As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care team:

• Support and mentor junior nurses, guiding them with your clinical expertise.
• Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Develop and evaluate holistic care plans for children in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement projects.
• Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient care.

The ideal Senior Staff Nurse candidate will have

• NMC Child Registered Nurse qualification with immediate paediatric life support.
• Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care.
• Proven ability to supervise and assess students and lead shifts.
• Experience with tracheostomised patients is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding issues.
• A background in teaching and mentoring.
• Excellent communication skills and clinical governance experience.
