As a Specialist Nurse Prescriber, you will:

 

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and manage patient care independently.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, integrating various treatment methods.
  • Provide travel advice and vaccinations, including influenza inoculations.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in health promotion days.
  • Conduct vision screenings on-site and at client premises.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records.

The ideal Specialist Nurse Prescriber will have:

 

  • Specialist knowledge and skills at an advanced level.
  • Experience maintaining accurate medical records.
  • RGN, NMC registration with a PIN.
  • Completion of an Independent Prescribing Course.
  • Relevant experience in minor injuries, ear irrigation, cervical screening, travel health, and venepuncture.
