Whether your background is as a Senior Practitioner, Child Protection Social Worker or Court Social Worker, you’ll be supported to deliver high-quality practice without unrealistic caseload pressures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex Child Protection and court proceedings cases through to permanence planning.
• Complete safeguarding assessments, care planning and long-term intervention work for looked after children.
• Work closely with legal teams, families and multi-agency partners to achieve safe and timely outcomes.
• Support child-focused decision making within statutory safeguarding frameworks.

About You

• Qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Care Wales.
• Significant experience within Child Protection and Court proceedings teams.
• Strong experience managing complex safeguarding and permanence cases.
