An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paediatric Nurse to join a well-established rehabilitation service in Surrey for children and young people with complex health needs.
Based within one of the on-site houses, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care while supporting the House Manager with day-to-day team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and oversee complex care (e.g. tracheostomy, gastrostomy, ventilation)
- Support clinical supervision, appraisals, and rota management
- Act as a key liaison for families and external professionals
- Coordinate care to ensure access to education, therapy, and activities
- Maintain accurate, NMC-compliant clinical records
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse (Children’s or Learning Disabilities preferred)
- Experience in paediatric complex care or SEND settings
- Confident in leading shifts and mentoring care teams
- Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care
