Are you an experienced care leader ready for your next step? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-respected care provider for a Registered Manager role at a specialist residential service in Radstock.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation with a strong track record in delivering person-centred care to adults with autism and learning disabilities.


About the Role

The Registered Manager will take the lead at Bedborough House, a residential service for seven adults with autism and learning disabilities. Located in a peaceful area with scenic views of the Somerset countryside, the service focuses on personalised care using evidence-based approaches to help residents live healthy, fulfilling lives.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring a high standard of care and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead and develop a team of dedicated staff, promoting a culture of dignity, independence, and respect.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-quality service.

  • Oversee person-centred care planning, working closely with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.

  • Drive service improvement and maintain robust quality assurance practices.

  • Develop and mentor team members to support career progression and service consistency.


Candidate Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or evidence of working towards it.

  • Previous experience managing or supervising in a similar care setting.

  • Knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with both challenges and rewards.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
