The Paediatric Clinical Lead will:

 

• Manage complex care packages, including planning, risk assessments, and clinical re-assessments.
• Conduct new client assessments and lead monthly team meetings.
• Perform medication and clinical audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Provide clinical supervision and competency sign-off for Registered Nurses.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Offer standard and emergency support for regional care functions.
• Ensure care staff are trained in personal care and specialist equipment use.
• Maintain clinical skills through ongoing professional development.
• Conduct spot checks and participate in audits to improve care delivery.
• Build effective relationships with care teams and management.

The ideal Paediatric Clinical Lead will have:

 

• Registered Nurse (Paediatrics) / Midwife with valid NMC registration
• Experience in complex care, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal and brain injuries
• Community experience working in paediatrics and with adults
• At least two years of experience in complex care, home care, or community settings
• A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
