As a an Oncology nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
  • Assessing patient needs and updating care plans as necessary.
  • Monitoring vital signs and escalating changes in condition appropriately.
  • Administering medications safely and effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate nursing documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with NMC standards and hospital policies.
  • Reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.

To be successful as a Registered Nurse, you should have:

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
  • SACT passport & Chemotherapy administration experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for patient records.
  • Previous oncology experience is required.
