The Non-Medical Prescriber role comes with:

As a Non-Medical Prescriber, you will:
  • Deliver recovery-focused alcohol and drug intervention services
  • Assess and treat service users, prescribing or adjusting opiate and alcohol substitute treatments
  • Act as an expert for colleagues and partner agencies on prescribing matters
  • Support individuals on their recovery journey with a compassionate and professional approach
 
The ideal Non-Medical Prescriber will have:
  • A relevant qualification and experience in substance misuse treatment
  • A passion for making a positive impact and supporting individuals in their recovery
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions
  • The ability to assess and create recovery plans for service users
