We’re partnering with a proactive Local Authority that’s looking to appoint an Interim MASH Team Manager to lead a high-performing safeguarding service. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying a better work-life balance in a beautiful setting.
About the Role
- Lead and manage a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team ensuring timely, consistent, and effective decision-making.
- Oversee the screening and triage of safeguarding referrals, ensuring clear thresholds and appropriate next steps.
- Work closely with partner agencies including health, police, and education to deliver a joined-up approach to safeguarding.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and leadership to social workers and support staff within the MASH team.
- Contribute to service development and improvement, embedding reflective practice and promoting a culture of professional curiosity.

Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with registration (or willingness to register) with Social Care Wales.
- Substantial post-qualifying experience in safeguarding, ideally within MASH or front door services.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience, managing qualified social workers.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding thresholds, statutory frameworks, and multi-agency working.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to Wales for 4 days per week on-site.
