MASH Social Worker | Relocate to Channel Islands | Outside IR35 | Beautiful Location | Immediate Start Available

Are you an experienced MASH Social Worker looking for a new challenge in a unique and beautiful location?

We’re working with Jersey’s Government to strengthen their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. If you have 5+ years’ experience working with children and families, thrive in a fast-paced but supportive environment, and are ready for an island relocation where your work will have a direct impact — this could be the perfect next step.

About the Role:

  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday – full-time contract
  • Outside IR35 – enjoy a significantly better take-home pay compared to mainland roles
  • Be based on-island (some off-island work may occasionally be required)
  • Work as part of a fast-paced, multi-agency environment where you will:
  • Undertake high-quality information gathering, analysis, and decision-making to safeguard children
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to assess risk and ensure timely responses
  • Apply thresholds and statutory guidance to inform practice
  • Contribute to Jersey’s Children First model and a responsive safeguarding service

What’s on Offer:

  • £46.50 per hour (paid weekly, outside IR35)
  • Relocation assistance provided
  • Work in a close-knit, collaborative MASH team with strong management and admin support
  • 3-month contract with possible extension
  • Immediate start available

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with children in care and their families
  • Skilled in safeguarding, referral and assessment, child protection, and threshold decision-making
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Clean driving licence & clear DBS (preferably on the update service)
  • Experience working with children and young people at risk of exploitation or missing from care
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, with a child-centred approach

If you’re ready for an exciting relocation and want to make a difference in a unique setting, we’d love to hear from you.
