The service is dedicated to offering specialised speech and language services to clients with complex disabilities. They work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient-centred care.

As a Lead Speech & Language Therapist, you will:

  • Assess and treat language, speech, swallowing, and cognitive communication disorders.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues, families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with a specialist multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective therapy services.
  • Participate in the key worker program, following integrated care pathways.
  • Report to the Head of Clinical Services and be part of the senior leadership team.

The ideal Speech & Language Therapist Lead will:

  • Hold a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with up-to-date HCPC registration.
  • Be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Have post-graduate experience in therapeutic interventions for physical and neuro rehabilitation.
  • Possess relevant experience in dysphagia and communication management.
  • Have evidence of post-graduate courses, CPD, and a professional portfolio.
