Our client is a leading neurorehabilitation facility in South London, renowned for its consultant-led, patient-focused rehabilitation services. They cater to both adults and children, ensuring the highest standards of care and support in a state-of-the-art environment.

As a Lead Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

• Oversee the Speech and Language Therapy team for patients with complex neurological conditions.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients aged 16 and over.
• Manage SLT team rotas and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise and train junior staff, students, and other professionals.
• Contribute to research, in-service training, and clinical protocol development.
• Lead service development, recruitment, and staff appraisals.

The ideal Lead Speech and Language Therapist will have:

• A degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience at Band 7
• Experience with acquired brain injury and related swallowing/communication issues.
• Advanced assessment and treatment skills, along with strong communication abilities.
• Experience in supervising junior staff and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
