The Care Home Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Leading and supporting a team of Clinical Leads and clinical staff to foster skill development.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Deputy Manager, and senior care staff to uphold care standards.
  • Anticipating and resolving issues proactively while ensuring effective communication.
  • Promoting Residents' Rights by ensuring staff complete mandatory training.
  • Developing and implementing processes to monitor clinical and care performance.
  • Providing clinical supervision to qualified staff, including nurses and clinical leads.
  • Building positive relationships with residents' relatives and regulatory bodies.

The ideal Care Home Manager will have:

 

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Residential/Nursing care home manager.
  • A strong background in elderly and dementia care.
  • Registered Nurse status with an NMC pin number.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
