A well-established care home in the Leyland area is currently seeking a Nurse Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering outstanding care, supporting a team, and driving high clinical standards.
About the Role: As Nurse Deputy Manager, you'll support the Home Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of a care home that provides both dementia and general nursing care. You'll be responsible for:
Leading clinical care and ensuring quality standards are met
Supervising, mentoring, and developing nursing and care staff
Supporting care planning and medication management
Acting as a positive role model and promoting a culture of respect, compassion, and dignity
What We're Looking For:
NMC-registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
Experience in a senior nursing or deputy management role within a care setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
A proactive, positive, and team-oriented mindset

This is a full time, permanent position to work as Deputy Nurse Manager, 40 hours per week. The role includes 2 days leading on the floor from 8am-8pm, and 2 supernumerary shorter days.
