Work as Deputy Nurse Manager within a stunning new build nursing home, just a few miles outside of Bradford. The Home provides nursing, residential, and specialist dementia care, with an excellent reputation in the area.
For this role we are looking for a passionate and driven nurse (RGN or RMN), with previous elderly care experience, which could be within a hospital, nursing home, hospice, or community setting. We are looking for a Nurse with supervisory or teaching experience, excellent clinical and leadership skills.
The role of Deputy Nurse Manager is supernumerary working mainly Monday to Friday – circa 42 hours per week. The role includes 2 shifts per week circa 7.30am – 4pm to do a handover / catch up with the night staff, with the other 3 days flexible to start at 8am, 8.30am, 9am – we are looking for someone who is flexible to work 5 days per week and do occasional on call.
The salary is £48,000 per annum and duties as Deputy include;
Assisting the Home Manager in the running of the Home
Audits / Care Plan audits
Supervisions / managing the floor
Training and development of staff
Recruitment and induction of new staff
Liaising with members of the multi disciplinary team
Ensuring CQC compliance
Shared on call responsibilities (every third week)
