As a Deputy Nurse Manager you'll:
  • Monitor standards of care delivered by all staff.
  • Support the Home Manager with policy implementation and business objectives.
  • Prepare staff rotas to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and ensure care plans are up to date.
  • Act as a focal point for residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns and ensuring high standards of care.
  • Role includes 2 days leading on the floor, and allocated supernumerary days
Package and Benefits:

The Deputy Nurse Manager role includes:
  • Hourly rate of £23 - circa £57,000+ per year
  • 48 hours per week, including weekends on a rota.

The ideal Deputy Care Home Manager (Clinical) will have:
  • A valid NMC PIN and RGN / RMN qualification.
  • Strong leadership skills with a highly motivated approach.
  • Experience in dementia care and managing safeguarding investigations.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment as Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Deputy, or Home Manager
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal skills.
  • A compassionate and resilient nature.
