As a Deputy Manager, you will:

 

  • Oversee the management and supervision of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in maintaining staff rotas and ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Identify and address training needs for staff.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the home and ensure high-quality care for young people.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.

The ideal Deputy Manager will have:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma
  • Diploma level 5 Leadership & Management or working towards it.
  • Experience with Children within Residential Setting (10-16 years old
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of care needs and care plans for young people.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Willingness to undertake further training as required.
