As a Complex Care Trainer, you will:

 

  • Deliver specialist training such as tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG, and epilepsy.
  • Conduct clinical skills assessments and competency checks.
  • Support induction and refresher programmes for healthcare staff.
  • Work with teams to identify and address training needs.
  • Ensure training records are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Assist in sourcing and coordinating external training venues.

The ideal Complex Care Trainer will:

 

  • Hold a recognised training qualification (e.g. PTLLS, Level 3 AET).
  • Have hands-on clinical experience in complex care.
  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Be willing to travel and stay overnight when required.
  • Have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • (Desirable) Have experience in community/homecare settings and familiarity with CQC standards.
