Are you a dedicated nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? We're on the lookout for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join a ‘Good’ rated nursing home in Chard, Somerset. The Clinical Lead role is fully supernumerary, working 3 or 4 days per week from 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, flexible.

The Clinical Lead Nurse role comes with an attractive salary of  £26.50 per hour, plus paid breaks, and you will be working 36 hours a week which totals an annual salary of circa £50,000.  The role is to work 3 or 4 days per week, between Monday and Friday – no weekends.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will:
  • Assess and supervise all aspects of care, acting as a mentor to Nurses.
  • Evaluate social and health care needs of new clients and conduct ongoing assessments for all residents.
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of care plans in line with NMC guidelines and company policy.
  • Administer prescribed medications and document them according to procedures.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff, offering help and guidance as needed.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse who has:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a nursing home
  • A commitment to high standards of care and resident comfort.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • The ability to supervise and instruct junior staff members.
