Are you a Registered Paediatric Nurse with expertise in complex care? We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join a respected provider of specialist paediatric complex care services in the Crawley area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse looking to transition into a community-based role, while leading and shaping the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care for children with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Lead Nurse:
 

  • Lead the implementation and oversight of complex care packages in the community
  • Complete clinical assessments for new clients and ongoing care reviews
  • Deliver clinical supervision, training, and competency assessments for nursing staff
  • Conduct medication and compliance audits to ensure safe, high-standard care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care plans
  • Provide both routine and emergency clinical support to regional care teams

Requirements for the Clinical Lead Nurse Role:
 
  • NMC-registered Paediatric Nurse (RCN)
  • Strong background in complex paediatric care (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, brain or spinal injuries)
  • Previous community care experience preferred
  • Confident in leading clinical teams and managing care delivery across multiple cases


This Clinical Lead Nurse position may suit professionals with experience in roles such as Nurse Case Manager, Paediatric Nurse, Senior Paediatric Nurse, Complex Care Nurse, Regional Nurse Lead, or Clinical Supervisor.
