Childrens Residential Team Leader

This role offers an hourly rate between £15.50 and £17, making it a rewarding opportunity for the right candidate. With a shift pattern of 2 on 4 off, you’ll have a great work-life balance. Additionally, the sleep-in rate is £70, providing extra benefits for those overnight stays.

As a Team Leader, you will:

 

• Lead and manage a team within the children's residential home.
• Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained.
• Support the development and implementation of care plans.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Liaise with external agencies and professionals as needed.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in the on-call rota as required.

The ideal candidate for the Team Leader position will have:

 

• A qualification of Level 3 / 4 in Children’s Residential (or equivalent) or be working towards it.
• At least 18 months of experience in children's residential or related services.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
