As a Care Assistant, you will:

 

• Deliver high standards of personal care such as washing, dressing, and repositioning.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Assist with meal times and monitor fluid intake as per care plans.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Collaborate with nurses, senior carers, and healthcare professionals.
• Always respect the wishes, dignity, and comfort of residents.

The ideal Care Assistant will be:

• Reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented.

• Experience in a care home or palliative care setting is desirable.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care or working towards it is a plus.
• Completion of the Care Certificate is advantageous.
