If you are an experienced Advanced Social Worker looking for stability, this Advanced Social Worker role offers consistent work within a well-established safeguarding team and a manageable caseload of around 10–15. You will join a service where expectations are realistic and social workers are supported to focus on meaningful safeguarding practice.

As an Advanced Social Worker, you will be part of a stable team where caseloads are shared fairly and professionals are trusted to manage their work without unnecessary oversight. Flexible working is actively encouraged to help maintain a healthy balance between demanding safeguarding work and life outside of it.

Package & Benefits

• £40–£43 per hour.

• Weekly expenses support through a loyalty bonus of £1–£3 per hour.

About the Company

You will be joining a local authority children’s service with a long-standing safeguarding team and a collaborative working culture. The service focuses on sustainable caseloads, supportive leadership, and creating an environment where social workers can deliver consistent safeguarding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a safeguarding caseload, supporting children in need and those subject to child protection plans.

• Undertake safeguarding assessments and contribute to effective child protection planning.

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure safe and timely interventions.

• Contribute to team discussions and share expertise to support consistent safeguarding practice.

About You

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

• Minimum three years’ post-qualification experience within children’s services.

• Safeguarding experience within a statutory local authority setting.
