Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a background in community complex care, looking for the opportunity to take ownership of an established service and lead its next phase of growth?

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a new Eastbourne branch delivering community-based complex care to adults and children in their own homes.

The service is already delivering approximately 2,000 hours of care per week, giving the incoming manager a strong operational platform from day one. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who can take CQC registration, guide the branch through its first inspection and drive growth across adult and paediatric complex care.

The successful person will combine strong operational leadership with quality, compliance and commercial awareness, ensuring the service continues to deliver safe, person-centred care while increasing care hours and developing new packages.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational, regulatory and commercial performance of the Eastbourne service.

You will take CQC registration for the branch and ensure the service is fully prepared for its first inspection, maintaining strong standards across governance, safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Alongside maintaining high standards across existing care packages, you will play a central role in growing the branch. This will include developing relationships with commissioners, case managers, families and healthcare professionals, supporting new package mobilisation and increasing the volume of care delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Take CQC registration for the Eastbourne service

• Prepare and lead the branch through its first CQC inspection

• Oversee approximately 2,000 existing care hours per week

• Lead adult and paediatric community complex care services

• Maintain high standards across safeguarding, governance and quality

• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and service reviews

• Lead and develop operational and care teams

• Monitor staffing, care hours and branch performance

• Build relationships with clients, families, commissioners and case managers

• Support the mobilisation of new complex care packages

• Identify opportunities to increase care hours and grow the branch

• Drive continuous improvement across service quality and client experience

• Work closely with clinical and senior operational colleagues

About You

To be considered for this Registered Manager opportunity, you will ideally have:

• Previous management experience within community complex care, homecare or domiciliary care

• Experience supporting adult and/or paediatric complex care packages

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection requirements

• Previous experience holding CQC registration or taking responsibility for regulatory compliance

• Experience preparing a service for CQC inspection would be highly advantageous

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, governance and quality assurance

• Proven experience leading operational and care teams

• Commercial awareness and experience monitoring service performance

• Experience growing care hours, packages or branch performance

• Strong relationship-management skills with clients, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals

• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
