We are working with a well-established care provider to appoint a Group Clinical Lead into a highly influential senior leadership position.

Working closely with senior Quality, Regulation and Operational leaders, you will provide group-wide clinical leadership and assurance while helping shape the organisation's approach to specialist care.

This is an opportunity to move beyond individual service management and have a genuine impact across a national portfolio.

The Package

£85,000 - £100,000 basic salary with a comprehensive benefits package including a car allowance.

The role

As Group Clinical Lead, you will provide expert clinical leadership, challenge and support across the organisation, helping ensure consistently high standards of safe, effective and person-centred care.

You will:

  • Provide group-wide clinical leadership and professional nursing oversight.
  • Strengthen clinical governance, assurance and risk management.
  • Lead clinical standards across areas including medicines, falls, wounds, infection prevention, deterioration, care planning and documentation.
  • Provide specialist expertise across mental health, dementia, complex needs and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Support services with complex admissions, clinical risks and challenging presentations.
  • Identify clinical trends and areas for improvement through audits, incidents, safeguarding, complaints and quality data.
  • Support CQC readiness and regulatory assurance.
  • Develop clinical policies, guidance, training and best practice.
  • Coach and influence Registered Managers, nurses and operational leaders.
  • Work with commissioners, ICBs, NHS teams, safeguarding professionals and other external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to specialist clinical/PBS colleagues.

Who we're looking for

You must be an RMN with current NMC registration and have substantial experience within mental health, dementia, complex needs and/or specialist care.

We would particularly like to hear from candidates with:

  • Senior clinical leadership experience within adult social care, specialist care, nursing or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health, dementia, complex needs and PBS.
  • Excellent understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and clinical risk.
  • Experience operating across multiple services or at regional/group level.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulation, safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act.
  • The credibility to influence senior operational leaders while remaining connected to frontline clinical practice.
  • Experience supporting complex services, admissions or placements.
