Package & Benefits

• Salary of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum.

The Role

As the Extra Care Scheme Manager, you will:

• Take full operational responsibility for an established Extra Care scheme, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred service delivery.
• Recruit, lead, coach and develop a motivated care team, creating a positive and supportive working culture.
• Drive quality improvement, audits and continuous service development to achieve excellent CQC outcomes.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation, governance requirements and internal policies.
• Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, occupancy, KPIs and operational performance to deliver outstanding service outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
• Support the continued success and growth of the service through strong operational leadership.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Experience as a Registered Manager, Care Manager, Service Manager, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role within adult social care, Extra Care, domiciliary care, community care or Supported Living services.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, governance and the statutory framework relating to adult social care.
• Experience managing operational performance, budgets, compliance, quality standards, audits and KPIs.
• A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop successful teams while creating a positive working culture.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care and continually improving services.
