Work as Registered Nurse within a small complex care nursing service in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
We are looking for an RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse to deliver outstanding care within a complex care home rated Good in all Areas by the CQC.
The Service in Barnsley provides support to adults with complex behavioural needs and mental ill-health, ranging from brain injury to early-onset dementia. You will be working as Registered Nurse within a 20-bed specialist nursing care home made up of two, 10-bed units.
This is a 20 bed home for adults with mental health problems or complex behavioural issues. Along with diagnosis' such as Huntington's, schizophrenia and Bi-Polar, some residents also have physical disabilities which require nursing care.
This is a self-sufficient service with a strong MDT in nursing, and access to NHS therapy where needed.
As our client is committed to providing the best care and support to all Service Users, the average ratio of staff in this Home is 8 Support Workers to every Nurse, due to the level of one to one care service users need.
You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
You are well organised, able to make decisions and work on your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team..
You will receive training as soon as you join the team. Your first four days will be spent completing a comprehensive induction and training programme, designed to give you all the information you need before starting work within the service. You will then receive training on a continual basis to help build your clinical skills.
This is a full time, permanent position and there are days and nights available. The starting salary is up to £16.80ph, with opportunities to develop into a more senior role of Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager and above. The annual starting salary is circa £34,000
