Due to an exciting new opportunity Leaders in Care are currently recruiting experienced Nurses to join a team of highly skilled clinicians at a Norfolk based Prison.


Operated by a times top 100 care provider this role is to work in a Category B prison and will primarily involve the promotion of health and wellbeing to inpatients.


We are looking for an experienced Nurse RGN or RMN who will provide clinical input to offenders and support to junior colleagues. You will work closely within the team of multidisciplinary staff to assist & support senior staff to deliver a nurse-led integrated primary care services and develop a specialist practice-based clinical model of care

The ideal Prison RGN or RMN will possess the following:

  • Registered RGN or RMN - requires NMC PIN
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Demonstrate some previous experience of working in Forensic settings

Prison Nurse RGN or RMN Duties:

  • Promote Health and Wellbeing to inpatients
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to team management and the development of innovative practice
  • Maintain close liaison with senior management team, deputizing as required
  • Implement and evaluate holistic programmes for service users
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive, signed and contemporaneous records according to trust procedures
  • Treat Prisoners as individuals, respect their privacy and dignity
