As projects seem to have wound down over the last 18months, it seems there are more experienced managers looking for long term placements, probably given the opportunity for knowledgeable practitioners to step up as the profession and demand has grown.

These roles sit in their assessment & safeguarding team, which pick up the referral from section 47 through to permanence (passing over if the child needs more permanent support from the council to the CIC team).
Although being an experienced manager is a benefit, the council will also consider experienced and supportive advanced practitioners who are able to develop into the leadership role.
Salaries range from £49,498-£51,515
Locations: Cheltenham, Cotswolds, Stroud & Tewkesbury

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
