Social Worker (Disabled Children's Team)

Are you a social worker who’s passionate about supporting children and families with complex needs?

We’re currently on the lookout for a social worker with strong Child Protection / Safeguarding background – ideally you would have had experience of working with children with complex needs.

This is a rare opportunity to join a stable team, with their last locum hire being over a year ago, management and most of the team are perm but require agency cover for long term sickness – with an initial 6 month contract on offer.

Within this roles they will be capped cases and experienced healthcare professionals on hand to support with cases and you will rely on multi agencies to provide support to parents and young children with complex needs – alongside this you can expect a staggered caseload, regular supervision, with management on hand to make you feel supported and more importantly welcome and safe.
