In this Senior Theatre Practitioner position, you will be leading the theatre team, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered to patients recovering from procedures undergone in theatre. You will be working alongside an expert team of over 80 specialists, in a state-of-the-art modern clinic which is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
In this Senior Theatre Practitioner role you will:
Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team and participate in education, training and development of staff.
Audit quality of care to improve service and ensure standards are maintained and to be involved in audit capture of raw data and reporting.
Delivery of a high level of post anaesthetic care for patients within the theatre recovery room.
Orientate new staff, including bank, agency and students, to the department.
Maintaining awareness of current clinical standards and national guidelines for safe and effective patient care.
To apply for this role, you must be a registered RGN / ODP Practitioner with a valid NMC pin or HCPC registration. You’ll also have a background in a leadership role within theatre or recovery.
