As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support children in the homes, ensuring a high-quality service.
  • Develop safe, professional, nurturing relationships with the children.
  • Lead shifts and make key decisions in line with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Promote therapeutic practices within the home using the PACE model.
  • Lead a team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Act as a positive role model.
  • Report to the Deputy/Home Manager.

The ideal Senior Residential Support Worker will have:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a team leader/shift leading role within a children’s home.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the residential childcare sector.
  • A UK driving licence and willingness to commute.
  • (Preferred) Level 3 Diploma in children’s residential care or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this qualification.
