As a Senior Anaesthetics Practitioner your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase.
  • Supporting, coordinating, and assisting in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
  • Providing clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care.
  • Leading patient care during specified periods.
  • Ensuring patient safety checks are carried out according to policy.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics role should have:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty.
  • Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
  • ILS certification.
  • Orthopaedic skills.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • ILM3 qualification.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing and leading a clinical team.
