Are you an experienced Scrub Nurse looking for a new challenge? This role offers a generous salary of up to £45,000 and is predominantly Monday - Friday. As a Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner, you will be:

  • Accountable for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway.
  • Providing excellent care to all patients.
  • Providing skilled clinical and technical help as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Involved in peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.

The ideal person for the Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner role will:

  • Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
  • Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
  • Have previous experience in theatre, at least of one year.
  • Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
