Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client, a well-regarded organisation with a strong reputation in children's residential care, is seeking a competent Registered Manager to help develop and register their first Family Assessment home in Liverpool, Merseyside. This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year, along with a yearly bonus scheme.

As a Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and guide a team of residential family support workers, overseeing daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Aim to achieve and maintain a minimum Ofsted rating of GOOD, with strategies to reach OUTSTANDING.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to the company's vision, values, policies, and ethos.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to manage risks and spearhead improvements.
  • Build productive relationships with Local Authority staff, social workers, and other statutory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with data capture requirements and management information systems.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care and service within the legislative framework.
  • Prioritise the safety of residents and staff, ensuring safeguarding practices meet regulatory requirements.
  • Implement family-specific plans, monitor progress, and facilitate necessary reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and oversee statutory compliance.
  • Generate high-quality observation reports and participate in court proceedings as needed.

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a family assessment.
  • Qualification in or willingness to work towards Parent Assess standard.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of relevant regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of care and safeguarding practices.
