Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager at a brand-new EBD Children’s home in Oldbury. If you are driven and passionate about making a difference, this could be the perfect role for you!

Our client operates three established EBD Children’s homes across the West Midlands, supporting children aged 8 to 18 years. They are now expanding with a fourth home, offering a nurturing and loving environment for children while encouraging independence and choice.

As a Registered Manager, you will:

  • Have autonomy over your own home.
  • Manage and develop your team.
  • Maintain clear personal and professional boundaries.
  • Support the spiritual, physical, psychological, cultural, and social needs of the children.
  • Implement and review individual care plans.
  • Maintain good relationships with team members, management, and external networks.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Standards outlined in “The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015”.
  • Attend and chair regular meetings with staff, directors, and external professionals.
  • Report to the Responsible Individual.

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

  • Previous OFSTED children's home registration.
  • At least one GOOD OFSTED inspection outcome.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care (or working towards it).
  • Management experience in a Children’s residential home.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • The ability to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure Barring Service.
  • Must be aged 21 or over.
