Registered Manager

Looking for a fulfilling role that makes a real difference? We're hiring for a Registered Manager for a brand-new children's home. Our client, a family-owned company with years of experience in fostering children, is passionate about creating a nurturing, safe environment for children who've had a tough start in life.

This role offers a starting salary of £45,000 - £50,000, with potential for negotiation for an experienced applicant. You'll have the opportunity to shape a new children's home from the ground up, working alongside a supportive team and a Responsible Individual. Plus, there's a £3000 bonus on registration.

Our client is a family-owned company with a wealth of hands-on experience in fostering children. They're driven by a passion to establish an excellent children's home where children who've had a difficult start can find a secure, loving home.

As the Registered Manager, you'll:

• Create a caring home for up to 3 children needing permanent care or support transitioning into foster care.
• Lead and mentor a team dedicated to improving the lives of these children.
• Work closely with the Responsible Individual and a supportive team to open this new Children’s Home in a fully refurbished property.

Package and Benefits:

As the Registered Manager, you can expect:

• An initial annual salary of £42,000 - £47,000, with potential for negotiation for experienced applicants.

The ideal Registered Manager candidate will have:

• A Registered Managers Award (RMA Children) (Combined management & care award).
• Significant residential childcare experience.
• A sound understanding of Ofsted regulations and expectations.
• Proven effective leadership skills.
• The ability to deliver service to national standards.
• A passion to develop a new service for children/young people.
