As a Pre-Assessment Nurse department, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting pre-assessment clinics and evaluating patient health.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in your area of practice.
- Leading and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensuring compliance with the NMC Code of Accountability.
- Managing patient records and documentation accurately.
- Providing high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate for the Pre-Assessment Nurse role will have:
- Valid NMC Registration.
- Evidence of relevant clinical professional development.
- Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice.
- Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability.
- Pre-assessment or surgical experience preferred.
