Leaders in Care are working directly with a council in Merseyside to offer something special. With recent funding approved in line with an expected increase in referrals following the school holidays, we’ve been given the green light to recruit Locality Social Workers in a well-known Council.

The service has 4 teams in which cases are allocated to Social Workers based on there they live to minimise travel. With average caseloads ranging from 15-20 the council will look to reduce this number depending on the different cases you’re holding.

Flexible working is encouraged by the council and you will be experienced enough and expected to manage your own diary to maximise best outcomes for your service users and to keep on top of cases.  

Due to our direct contact with this council, we are able to support your needs whether that’s needing a condensed working week or flexi time to manage childcare or personal ventures, we have you covered, let us find the role that suits your needs best. The local authority has a great range of permanent to agency staff with great feedback from current social workers working there already!
