As the Lead Paediatric Nurse, you will:

• Lead the provision of planned care for patients aged from birth to 18 years.
• Ensure the delivery of effective care through excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
• Develop a working environment that improves health, safety, and security.
• Undertake Human Resource activities for the team.
• Plan, monitor, and assure the quality of technology used for treatment.
• Develop strategies and policies for service improvement.
• Support and lead the team.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Paediatric Nurse role will:

• Be a Registered Children’s Nurse.
• Have NMC registration.
• Hold EPALS/PALS certification.
• Have Child Protection level 3.
• Possess experience in a lead role within a similar setting.
• Have experience working in outpatients and pre-assessment.
• Have experience working as a practitioner in multidisciplinary teams.
