Leaders in Care are collaborating with a forward-thinking authority in North Wales seeking experienced Duty & Assessment Social Workers. This council emphasises flexibility and work-life balance, offering hybrid arrangements, 4-day work weeks, and autonomy over your schedule.

As a Duty & Assessment Social Worker, you will be the first point of contact for children and families referred to the service. Your role will focus on:

  • Conducting Initial Assessments: Responding to new referrals, completing comprehensive assessments, and identifying risks and needs.
  • Section 47 Enquiries: Leading safeguarding investigations when there are concerns for a child’s safety or welfare

You will work with a manageable caseload, supported by an experienced and proactive management team, ensuring you can focus on delivering high-quality, impactful work.

Requirements:

  • A Social Work qualification and full SWE registration.
