Leaders in Care are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' council in the Berkshire area, for an experienced children’s social worker to join the Family Safeguarding service, for a very competitive salary of up to £47,418.

Benefits include a manageable caseload, as cases are split evenly across the service, as well as regular opportunities for career progression. You will also have option for condensed hours, allowing you the option of a 3 day weekend to help maintain that all important work life balance. 

This council also offer a golden hello payment of £3000 after 12 months, as well as an annual retention payment of £2000, taking your first year salary up to over £52,000! 

This is a great opportunity to join an established safeguarding team who value best practice and are supportive of one another. You will receive regular, focussed reflective supervision and support when needed to ensure personal development, in line with the service.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
