You will be working on a flexible shift pattern which ensures a balanced workload, with four staff on duty during our busiest times and two during quieter periods. The council believes in balanced hours and caseloads as they value their staffs wellbeing and work-life balance.

Joining this experienced team of EDT staff from various backgrounds, you'll receive robust support from your colleagues and managers within the service. You'll have the opportunity to work and engage with diverse demographics and experience both rural and urban settings.

Collaborating closely with agencies like the Police, A&E, North Wales Ambulance Service, and GP's, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the best outcomes for those facing challenging situations. Whether it's children and adults at risk, foster placement breakdowns, vulnerable adults in police custody, individuals experiencing mental health crises, or older adults in need of support, you'll have the chance to positively impact a diverse range of individuals and communities.

The council are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to make a difference. You must either be Approved Mental Health Professional or an experienced child protection Social Worker to be considered for this post, as you will be responding to emergency situations, often out of hours.
