Our client is a reputable nursing home in Ayr, Scotland, providing Nursing, Dementia nursing, and Residential Care. With a commitment to high-quality care, they offer a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

The Deputy Home Manager will be responsible for:

  • Combining clinical nursing with staff management.
  • Mentoring the nursing team and providing supervision on the floor.
  • Designated supernumerary hours.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, risk management, and audit.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, protocols, evidence-based nursing practice, and NMC guidelines.

Package and Benefits:

The Deputy Home Manager position offers a comprehensive package:

  • Annual salary of circa £48,000.
  • Hourly rate of £23.48 to £24.48.
  • Full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week.

     

     

The ideal Deputy Home Manager will have:

  • Relevant nursing qualifications (RGN, RNLD, or RMN).
  • Experience working with the elderly in a nursing home environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and audit.
  • Ability to comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and NMC guidelines.
