As a Clinical Unit Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing a specific unit within the care home
  • Delivering top-notch care and maintaining resident dignity
  • Managing the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager
  • Reporting on resident conditions and administering medication
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues and students
  • Ensuring effective communication and professional behaviour
  • Advocating for a person-centred approach to care
  • Recognising and reporting safeguarding concerns

The ideal Clinical Unit Manager will have:

  • Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC Pin
  • A commitment to high standards of practice

  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and reporting procedures
